Bootiful Mantle

I love decorating for fall, mostly because I love the colors you can use to warm up the house.  I used this frame fitted with burlap

and switched out the stars for foam pumpkins that I cut in half, but kept the stem.

Here is a great picture of the whole mantel put together including the pumpkin specimen art.
I printed a cute little owl silhouette onto burlap, see this tutorial http://poppiesandpinwheels.blogspot.com/2011/08/for-love-of-burlap.html. for how to print directly onto burlap.
I'd love to see your fall decor!!!

Double the Cuteness

After making the burlap and lace wreath I presented in my last post, I decided to make mini's; adorable twin wreaths.

Here are some more cute close-ups:

Cute little twins without all the pain and sleepless nights : )

By the way, so excited that my Burlap and Lace Wreath was featured at Sweet little Gals, Lovely Crafty Home, and Beyond the Picket Fence.  If you haven't participated in their linky parties or visited their blog, I suggest you do so.  You'll be hooked like I am.

Burlap and Lace Wreath

I love how this combination came out.  I wrapped the wreath with strips of burlap and made fabric flowers from orange and turquoise fabric (love these colors together) and added a vintage flare with the lace.  Hope you like it!!
Now for some close ups...

Hope you have a terrific day!!
